CCP has been investigating the feasibility of placing a wind energy facility at the Highland Park site for the last four years. The site is currently being monitored by meteorological (MET) towers, which provide the data for a formal wind assessment which have now been completed.

Now that the permitting environment has been changed to favorably accommodate utility scale renewable energy, CCP is moving forward and working with the permitting authorities to successfully permit the Highland Park Project.

A preliminary environmental review and a comprehensive avian study are currently underway in coordination with representatives from the National Forest Service and the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

This 200 +/-MW project anticipates construction in 2023 and commercial Operations in 2024.
